My Story
My executive coaching story
I qualified as a dietitian from Trinity College Dublin in 2001 and since then I have enjoyed a varied and challenging career. Having worked for over 20 years, firstly in the NHS and then in the private sector, I have been able to see the benefit that nutrition can have on a person’s mental and physical well-being.
While working in the NHS I covered areas including gastroenterology, allergy, oncology, cardiology, stroke, epilepsy and the ketogenic diet. I was privileged to have worked with some of the top London consultants and to
have been at the forefront of current research.
I now work in private practice where I have developed my interest in gut health, with one particular focus being on the importance of the gut-brain-axis and its role in mental wellness and physical health. I also focus on sustainable eating which is critically important for the future of the planet; irritable bowel syndrome; cancer prevention and overall nutritional balance. I enjoy working with individuals to provide personalised advice as well as regularly working with large organisations to provide nutritional wellness sessions to their employees and teams.
Since 2021 I have had the pleasure of being part of a team of experts in developing and bringing to market a product called Deeply, aimed at improving human health whilst ensuring a sustainable method of production. It is a fibre rich, prebiotic blend of plant foods designed to support the gut microbiome and as a result whole body health.
I partnered with MRA as the team dietitian in 2019. It is wonderful to be part of a company that realises the importance of nutrition in helping to strengthen mental and physical resilience and overall well-being.
